A bit about me.
Originally from Up North, and after a decade spent living abroad, I now live in the beautiful Gower Peninsular on the South Welsh coast, with my small but perfectly-formed family.
Professionally, my background has mainly been in published media as a proof reader and then copy editor. I had my first foray into the world of voice overs when I was asked to voice a couple of spots for a local radio station. They turned out surprisingly well, and the rest... is history!
I now work as a voice artist full-time from my professional home studio, where you’ll find me most days. In a small padded room. Talking. Alone.
Please get in touch - I’d love to chat about your next project :)
A bit about my padded cell.
Most of my work happens at my home studio - it's where I record and produce my voice over work.
I record in a purpose-built voice over isolation booth, and use a Neumann TLM 103 condenser mic and a 24bit/96 KHz Focusrite preamp.
For editing and processing I have an iMac, running Adobe Audition, powered up with Waves Audio plug-ins, delivering exceptional sound quality, digital processing and clarity. Other equipment includes Audio-Technica M50 monitor headphones, AT4040 mic.
I am able to self-direct and produce work, or I can record live in a directed session, I'm also happy to travel to a nearby studio of your choice.
